Committee For SC/ST
The institute has constituted SC-ST Cell. The aim of this committee is to resolve all affairs related to SC/ST reservation implemented in the institute according to Indian Constitution and registering the complaints in writing from SC/CT teachers, employees and student & address it to higher authority for resolution. The committee will look into the complaint and call the concerned complainant personally for hearing the grievance.
The following SC-ST Committee is constituted.
Grievance Redressal Committee
As per the rules and regulations addressed by the AICTE / UGC / RGPV, for student or other stake holders in the Institution, “Grievance Redressal Committee” has been constituted.
Its Objective is to settle genuine grievances of students, staff and parents up to a satisfaction level so as to create a healthy relationship among the students, parent’s employees and employer. The grievance will include any matter relating to student and staff.
It will provide guidance and counselling on the problems related to students, faculty and staff.
Objectives
- To prepare the policy to inspect and review complaints or grievances of students and faculties.
- To investigate the cause of grievances.
- To ensure effectual solution depending upon the gravity of the problem.
Scope :
The cell will deal with Grievances received in writing from the students about any of the following matters:
- Academic Matters: Related to timely issue of Transfer Certificates, Conduct Certificates or other examination related matters.
- Financial Matters: Related to dues and payments for various items from library, hostels etc.
- Other Matters: Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation, preparation of food, availability of transport, victimization by teachers etc.
Functions:
- The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students
- The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the Management policy
- The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
Women Grievance Committee
The following Women’s Grievance Committee is formed to look into the grievance of female staff member and students.
The complaint received by principal office from any female staff or students will be forwarded to above committee. The said committee will look into the complaint and call the concerned complainant personally for hearing the grievance.
The chairman of the committee will submit the report to the principal within one week from date of receipt of complaint.
About Internal Complaint Committee
Internal Complaints Committee ("ICC"), a body envisaged to receive complaints on sexual harassment at the workplace from an aggrieved woman, as well as to inquire into and make recommendations to the employer on the action required pursuant to its inquiry of such complaint made.
Objectives
The objectives of the Internal Complaint Committee to Prevent Sexual Harassment of
Women at the Workplace are as follows:
- To develop a policy against sexual harassment of women at the Institute.
- To evolve a permanent mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender based violence at the Institute.
- To ensure the implementation of the policy in letter and spirit through proper reporting of the complaints and their follow-up procedures.
- To uphold the commitment of the Institute to provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
Functions:
- Internal Complaints Committee will examine all matters relating to women in the workplace and will make suggestions and proposals to the institute administration regarding such matters.
- The committee will arrange programs on Women’s Day and at other times, as is deemed necessary.

- Female employees on harassment and discrimination in the workplace by other employees.
- Female students on harassment and discrimination in the classroom and in relation to academic activities by faculty and staff (Student to student cases will not be handled and will be referred to the Dean Student Affairs)
- Female residents on harassment, assault and other forms of misbehaviour by employees.
OBC Committee
The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from government agencies and other sources. They are also encouraged to enrol for career orientation programs, which would empower and equip them with the necessary skills to choose a career option. The cell is always engaged to solve the various problems of OBC students.
Objective:
- OBC Cell has been created in the college to resolve all the affairs and problems related to the OBC Students of the college. Following are the important work under OBC Cell:
- All affairs related to OBC students.
- To aware the OBC students regarding various scholarships program of State Government and UGC.
- To take such follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Government of India and the UGC.
Activities:
- To collect reports and information of State Government and UGC’s orders on various aspects of education, employment of OBC Students.
- To circulate State Government and UGC’s decisions about different scholarship programs.
- To communicate with the students and motivate them for better future planning.
The following OBC Committee is constituted.
The Hon. Supreme Court, as well as RGPV University, have reiterated the need to curb this evil practice from time to time. In this connection, SISTec-R will strictly enforce all the relevant norms, provisions, and recommendations enshrined in the various Anti Ragging Acts.
Ragging is totally banned in this Institution and anyone indulging in ragging is likely to be punished appropriately with punishment which may include expulsion or suspension from the Institute &/or FIR may be filled in police Station with a public apology.
All the students and their parents are required to enter into a joint undertaking with the College not to get involved in any acts of ragging. Those found guilty of ragging are liable to be fined by the College and/or imprisoned by the law enforcement agencies. An Anti Ragging Committee, consisting of the following Members, has hereby been constituted to implement the norms and regulations of the various agencies vis-a-vis ragging for the session 2019-20.
